Dodgeville UMC Stephen Ministry $1,500 - Cover costs of training two new Stephen Leaders
Green Bay: First UMC "Rethinking Music and Song" $1,250 - Assist with costs to send two part-time music staff members to continuing education event to discover new ways to make traditional worship vital and relevant.
Green Bay: St Paul's UMC Kids for Christ Ministries $4,000 - Building on program begun in 2009 with the donation of a cow, children's program that reaches out into the community, and includes a mission component.
Holcombe UMC Puppet Ministry $4,050 - Establish a puppet ministry
LaCrosse: Wesley UMC Hearing Impaired Outreach $900 - Purchase of portable units that enhance sounds for hearing aid users.
Madison: Divine Savior UMC Green Space Development $3,500 - Develop the green space around the church building with a garden plot to grow food for local food pantry and create a labyrinth. Participate in end of summer block party for the neighborhood.
Madison: First UMC Fine Arts Outreach Ministry $4,000 - In collaboration with various professionals and volunteers from the larger community, offer opportunities to participate in numerous fine arts programs to their local neighbors and clients, many of whom make their home in the streets.
Menomonie UMC The Place Campus Ministry $1,500 - Second year request for the Saturday night programming for young adults as an alternative to alcohol centered house parties and local bars
Mt Horeb UMC Sunday School Health and Wellness Initiative $2,900 - Purchase of new curriculum, recreational equipment and outreach materials in order to invite and involve local community children in Sunday morning programming
Onalaska UMC After School Program $2,962 - Assist in purchasing healthy snacks for expanded hours of after school program
Oshkosh: First UMC VBS Outreach $1,000 - Expand VBS from 40 participants to 100.
Port Washington: UMC New Worship Service Advertising $3,000 - New contemporary worship service, advertising and equipment
Reedsburg UMC Children's Library $891 - Establish a children's library
Reedsburg UMC God's Photo Gallery $444 - Send cameras home with members to take pictures of where they see God in their everyday lives and later, transform a hallway into "God's Photo Gallery"
Reedsburg: UMC Children's Bell Choir $360 - Re-establish the children's bell choir with new cd's, player, and song cards
Reedsburg: UMC Hispanic Outreach $5,000 - Continue outreach/worship service for Hispanics with purchase of bibles, offer ESL courses, advertising, jail ministry, mileage for home visits
Stoughton UMC Transportation Program $3,000 - Support to cover vehicle insurance and maintenance cost for van transportation program.
Sun Prairie UMC Ecumenical Youth Lock In $2,000 - Ecumenical Senior High Weekend experience, led by Ken Medema, based around a common theme and interwoven with music. Weekend culminates with a public concert.
UMW Hmong House of Good News $2,500 - Provide transportation services for elderly Hmong women in the Milwaukee metro area to be able to attend Hmong House activities on a regular basis
WAC African Pastors Group $2,000 - Establish annual family retreat that will enable fellowship amount African Pastors in the WAC
WAC Board of Church and Society $2,000 - Assist in sponsoring two "Youth Leadership Seminars: Bullies, Victims and Bystanders" in the fall of 2011 at Wauwatosa Avenue UMC and Stevens Point: St. Pauls UMC
WAC Clergy Cultural Competence Workshop $2,500 - The Cabinet and Board of Ordained Ministry to meet and find ways of collaboration and coordination for strengthening clergy effectiveness in the conference.
WAC Clergy/Laity Connection Pilot $4,000 - A one-year trial of an approach to energize individual laity, congregations, and clergy to interconnect in healthy ways
Watertown: Christ UMC Summer Sandwich Program $1,250 - Expand "Summer Sandwich" program to 10-11 weeks during summer vacation with assistance in purchasing food and coolers
Waukesha: First UMC Healing Hearts of Waukesha Cty $2,000 - Interdenominational support group for children and families experiencing loss due to death, divorce and other causes.
Wausau: First UMC Personal Needs Closet $1,000 - Offer personal, hygiene and household supplies to complement the work of the community food pantry
WCC Becoming Welcoming Communities: New Immigrants in WI $2,500 - Produce a congregational study guide which focuses on the history of migration to WI to be mailed free to all WCC member denominations
WCC: WI Interfaith Power and Light $4,000 - Intensive outreach effort to connect with UMC's and other faith traditions to provide resources and training about climate change and energy use
Whitefish Bay: UMC Alpha Program $1,360 - Assist in providing components of the Alpha Adult Discipleship Pathway study
Whitewater Area Regional Ministries - Financial Peace $250 - Seed money for the training DVD and leaders guide for Financial Peace University by Dave Ramsey
Whitewater Area Regional Ministries - Stephens Ministry $2,500 - Establish Stephen Ministries
WUMF - Stewardship Retreat for Ministry Plan $4,000 - Offer another Stewardship Retreat for the purpose of developing a 3-5 year Stewardship Ministry plan
WUMF - Women in Philanthropy $4,000 - Develop a ministry inviting women to identify the key role they have in developing a culture of generosity
WUMF Fall Stewardship Seminar $3,000 - Host a nationally-known speaker to speak at least twice in Wisconsin and possibly in MN or other neighboring state and share costs
WUMF Technology Expansion $3,000 - Building on the 2010 video production of "What is God calling us to give?", produce 3-4 more spots in 2011 as well as investigate the production of a webinar with a stewardship ministry emphasis
